Peaches and Cream is a dwarf  Japanese Maple with wonderful color throughout the growing season. The new growth ranges in color from cream to peach to rose pink on light green leaves. This cultivar has reticulated leaves – which means the veins show prominently on each leaf. Summer color may not have as much pink as spring, but still the light green leaves can have pink or peach overtones. Recommended sun exposure is in the morning with shade protection in the hot afternoon sun. Fall colors show gold evolving to red.

Estimated height in 10 years is 6′ to 8′ with the ‘vase-like’ growth habit. This medium compact maple makes an excellent container plant for an outdoor deck or patio. Once established this cultivar is hardy to -20 degrees – USDA zone 5.
